
This work done at training, combined with my yoga practice, awaked my physical, respiratory and energetic consciousness. During that period of my life I was also training as an actress, where there was a wide part focused on breathing and corporal training. But something pushed me to keep exploring this new path opening in front of me because, despite everything, I sensed there was something deeply powerful and liberating on it.ĭuring the first years, my practice was very intermittent, attending workshops, practising at the gym, trying different styles and teachers. I didn’t completely enjoy my first class. I clearly remember that, for some reason. My name is Ana, I was born in Barcelona and I discovered yoga for the first time when I was studying Art History at university.

Teaching allows me to share my love for yoga with other people and enable them to find a healthier and peaceful self. In 2013, with nearly ten years of English teaching experience, I felt that it was time for a change. Getting involved with Yoga gave me the space to slow down to learn and observe my body keeping her motivated, healthy and balanced. Over the years I realized that yoga had a lot more to offer than just a deeper stretch. I took up yoga to gain better flexibility and mobility in my body to excel in my hobbies. I have always been a lover of sports and movement constantly involved in various physical activates.įorever curious about the body’s abilities and the potential it has. In 2014 I decided to certify in Shakti Dance with Sara Avtar from England.Ĭurrently, I offer classes in both disciplines, Hatha Vinyasa and Shakti Dance, that although different in perming have the same goal being more aware and healthy, to help live in harmony with ourselves and with everything around us. The practice of Shakti dance is based on harmonic motion linked to breathing. Thus, my blessing meeting Shakti Dance, which is a sacred dance that has its roots in Kundalini Yoga. I enrolled in the Hatha Yoga Training School Patanjali International Yoga Foundation with Hatha Yoga master, Jitendra Das in Rishikesh.ĭance has always been an inspiration in my life, venturing from my early youth in the practice of contemporary, African, salsa and Arabic dance among others. I began slowly to give my first classes and it was in 2012 that I decided to travel to India to further deepen my teaching skills. Whilst still in Uruguay I took the course of Raja Yoga Instructor and in 2006 I decided to change my residence to Barcelona. I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and it was 15 years ago when the road and the passion towards the practice of yoga started. Your host will be offering extra optional activities such as Barcelona tours, paddleboarding, cycling, massages, alternative therapies, and much more within the city and surroundings. Options are to explore the city, enjoy the beach or just relax.

In addition to your daily retreat practice, you will have the opportunity to try many different yoga styles and workshops such us such as vegan cooking, voice workshops, Acroyoga and many others depending on your chosen week.ĭaily classes will be followed by a vegetarian brunch cooked by our nutritionist, and then free time.

Classes will be taught in English, and styles will vary from dynamic Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, and Shakti Dance. We have carefully chosen a team of qualified and established international teachers. In the evenings (only from March to October) you will also be able to join the 1 hour daily sunset class on the rooftop terrace, overlooking the city.

Every day, you will enjoy a 2-hour daily morning yoga session with a dedicated teacher guiding you.
